The University of Cauca, is a public education institution with strong democratic principles.  Its administrative structure is composed of legislative and executive authorities.



The highest executive entity of the Alma Mater is the Superior Council and the Rector is the first executive authority of the University. The Academic Council and four Vice-rectors complement the administrative structure of the institution. The Academic Council is responsible for analyzing and making academic decisions.
