Unicauca professor, invited as a Jury in Doctoral Candidacy Examinations at two Colombian universities
The invitations of the Doctorate programs of the Technological University of Pereira and the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia arise from the investigative experience of the professor César Alberto Collazos regarding the use of Information Technologies to improve the quality of life of people.
Two research projects in doctoral programs at the Technological University of Pereira and the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia, will have the participation of professor César Alberto Collazos, who currently works as coordinator of the IDIS Research and Development group in Software Engineering, attached to the Systems Department of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications of the Universidad del Cauca.
Professor César Alberto Collazos will be the evaluating jury for two doctoral candidacy examinations. The first, called "Adaptive system for upper limb rehabilitation using virtual reality and coordination analysis", of the Doctorate Program in Engineering at the Technological University of Pereira, where he will be a Jury with the Phd. Julio César Sánchez Naranjo, from the Technological University of Pereira.
Likewise, he has been invited as an evaluator of the doctoral candidacy examination "Motor Rehabilitation System Based on a Digital Signal Transformation Model as a Tool to Improve Post-Stroke Patient Satisfaction and Upper Limb Functional Outcome", of the Doctorate in Engineering - Systems Emphasis and Computing from the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia, in which he was a Jury with professors María Patricia Trujillo from the Universidad del Valle, and Steffano Mazzoleni, from the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa (Italy).
Both works include a very important component in Human-Computer Interaction issues, which is one of the lines of research that is being worked on within the IDIS Group.
The invitations arise from the experience that Professor Collazos has in these areas of research, around the use of Information Technologies to improve the quality of life of people, based on Interactive Systems Designs from a Human Being approach.
