The professor and researcher of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications of the University of Cauca, César Alberto Collazos, will be the lead editor along with professor Patricia Paderewski of the University of Granada (Spain) and Alejandro Fernández of the National University of La Plata (Argentina)

 

Professor César Alberto Collazos, coordinator of the IDIS Software Engineering Research and Development Group, attached to the Systems Department of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications of the Universidad del Cauca, has been selected as the lead editor of the special issue "Collaborative Mobile Applications "from Mobile Information Systems Magazine edited by Hindawi and categorized as B by Colciencias.

 

Together with Professor Collazos, as guest editors, Professor Patricia Paderewski from the University of Granada (Spain), who is the coordinator of the VG-Collab Network: Collaborative Network for Research and Development of Videogames in Latin America, of which the University del Cauca is part of the IDIS Group; and Professor Alejandro Fernández from the National University of La Plata (Argentina).

 

This special issue of the magazine aims to give an academic and practical point of view on relevant topics in the design of collaborative applications in mobile scenarios. In addition, as collaboration is becoming a major part of our lives, applying it in the design of applications in mobile scenarios is an increasingly necessary action that researchers must begin to consider. This special issue will help raise awareness among researchers and practitioners of the possibilities offered by considering collaboration a vital element in the design and implementation of interactive applications.
