Inter-institutional alliance will train in Technical and Operational Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Tuberculosis

The virtual conference that will be held from September 10 to October 22, 2020, seeks to contribute to having better tools for clinical performance in response to this disease, to the optimal management of the program at the level of territorial entities, Institutions Providers of Services of Health of the public, private and indigenous sectors and other actors of the System.

 

The University of Cauca, through the Tuberculosis Research Group attached to the Department of Internal Medicine of the Faculty of Health Sciences, in alliance with the Department of Health of Cauca and the Rotary Club and Rotarac, carry out the Update Conference "Guidelines Technical and Operative of the National Program for the Prevention and Control of Tuberculosis”.

 

The conference that is carried out regarding the adoption of the Technical and Operational Guidelines of the National Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Program (Resolution 227 of February 2020), seeks to contribute to having better tools for clinical performance in response to this disease, to the optimal management of the program at the level of territorial entities, Health Service Provider Institutions of the public, private and indigenous sectors and other actors of the System.

 

Registrations will be made until September 9, 2020 and the virtual activity will take place from September 10 to October 22, 2020, every Thursday from 2:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon.

The methodology of the Update Sessions will be carried out through a cycle of 16 virtual conferences with speakers belonging to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, National Institute of Health, Sectional Directorate of Health of Antioquia, Colombian Society of Pneumology and Infectology, Pan American Health Organization, University of Cauca and Departmental Secretary of Health.
