Consultation will be held among undergraduate students to estimate academic offer in 2020-1

La Universidad -

Between Monday, August 3 and Wednesday, August 5, students of the University of Cauca's undergraduate programs will participate in a consultation aimed at estimating the possible demand for academic supply required for the development of the first (I) academic period of 2020.

Through a survey that will be aimed at students of the different undergraduate programs of the University of Cauca, the aim is to estimate the academic offer that will take place in the 2020-1 academic period, an activity that is coordinated by the Admissions Division, Registration and Academic Control DARCA and the Division of Information Technology and Communication TICS.

This is determined in the Resolution of the Academic Vice-rectory 178 of 2020, in which it is indicated that the information provided by him and the student completing the survey will be used as support in planning the academic work required for the execution of the first (I) 2020 academic period, which will be built with the limit imposed by the institutional budget allocated for this purpose.

It is noteworthy that the university students are currently working together on the construction of the criteria and tools that will support the development of the first academic period of 2020, a process of which it was considered pertinent to carry out a consultation based on the population of each faculty and the demand for places in each subject, as a support tool in planning the academic offer required in undergraduate programs.
