Doctorate in Electronic Sciences receives the AUIP Award for Postgraduate Quality in Ibero-America
The graduate program of the University of Cauca is supported by the research groups in Industrial Automation, Research and Development in Software Engineering, and New Technologies in Telecommunications.
The Doctorate in Electronic Sciences of the Faculty of Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering of the University of Cauca obtained the AUIP Award for the quality of the Postgraduate in Latin America. The award given by the Iberoamerican Postgraduate University Association is a recognition of the quality of the program focused on not only technical but human training.
The Doctorate in Electronic Sciences with Qualified Registration by Resolution No. 10402 of July 14, 2015, is an advanced training program for researchers with regional and national impact, lasting ten semesters and is divided into two cycles: one cycle Research Master of four (4) semesters and a doctoral training cycle of six (6) semesters.
The Program is supported by the research groups in Industrial Automation, Research and Development in Software Engineering, and New Technologies in Telecommunications, of the University of Cauca. These groups respectively develop three specific areas of knowledge: Automation, Computing, and Telecommunications Systems.
The AUIP Awards are a recognition of the quality of the advanced training programs offered by the associated institutions, they aim to promote the institutional efforts that are being made to improve the academic offer and, in the process, stimulate their qualitative improvement.
