Students and teachers of the Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications, Physical Engineering, Automatic Industrial Engineering and Robotics Seedbed programs at the University of Cauca, carried out an automatic prototype of spray disinfection, so that it can be used in strategic places in the department of the Cauca as hospitals, supermarkets or companies.

The team of researchers, involved in the fight against COVID 19, met with the Popayán Fire Department to implement the first prototype of the sprinkler at its facilities, taking into account the important work of its personnel throughout the city.

The robotics hotbed of the University of Cauca aims to promote the research, creative and teamwork capacity of its members (students and teachers), through the formulation of R&D projects oriented in areas such as; robotics, control, electronics and automation, from which solutions to regional and / or specific problems of the robotics line can be found.
