Amnesty process will take place virtually

La Universidad -

The amnesty process to resume studies in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Cauca has a new component, as a consequence of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, in which preventive confinement is necessary.

This is established in the Academic Agreement 023 of 2020 issued by the Academic Council, indicating that the applications to be a beneficiary of the amnesty must be sent by email to amnistia@unicauca.edu.co using the formats established for that purpose, and during the time preventive measures remain in force.

Likewise, it is indicated that during the period that preventive measures are in place, compliance with the administrative requirements that are foreseen for this process is exempt, only during the current health emergency.

Another aspect that the Academic Agreement 023 of 2020 manifests, is that once the current contingency has been overcome, the terms of the academic calendar will be established through which the amnesty process for the undergraduate and graduate programs will be continued.

The University Directorate, with the endorsement of the Superior Council and the regulations of the Academic Council, established the amnesty as a transitory measure to grant the right to continue studies and apply for the title in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the Universidad del Cauca, respectively.
