Unicauca research group summarizes scientific evidence on COVID 19
The document entitled “The panorama of Coronavirus 2 of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-COV-2)” is an analysis of COVID 19 and the current situation in the world.
The GIS Health Research Group linked to the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Cauca collectively builds a documentary review article called “The panorama of Coronavirus 2 of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-COV-2)”. The document that is under review for publication addresses the issue of Covid-19 from its origin with scientific and experimental support.
According to the Research Group in the document, the Covid-19 crisis has reached a new phase in which public health systems must act decisively to contain the growth of new epicenters. However, the global spread of the virus may be a moment that reveals whether employers are ready to respond quickly to unexpected changes in the workplace, and whether health systems have the capabilities to assist the massive wave of people that may be arriving and to be unleashed if the community in general does not abide by the health and safety regulations.
The world needs contingency plans and the development of controlled actions for pandemics and epidemics. Covid -19 has demonstrated governance failures that can lead to inaction or overly enthusiastic action by poorly prepared authorities focused on maintaining or regaining stability.
