The University of Cauca suspends Public Accountability Hearing
Through Resolution R - 223, the University of Cauca temporarily suspends the holding of the Accountability Hearing, effective 2019. The foregoing is framed in the provisions of the National Government to contain the spread of COVID 19.
The President of the University of Cauca, José Luis Diago Franco, through Resolution R - 223 of March 11, 2020, temporarily suspends and until further order, the holding of the Public Accountability Hearing corresponding to the 2019 term. , the talks on accountability of the Faculties and the North Headquarters in Santander de Quilichao are suspended.
In the aforementioned public document, it is mentioned that currently the Ministry of Health and Social Protection has identified cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Colombian territory, confirming the increase in the number of infected, for which the National Government through The Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Health and Social Protection and Ministry of Labor have issued different circulars where guidelines are established to avoid risks and take preventive measures.
In the face of the declared health emergency in the country and in compliance with the provisions of the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization, the University of Cauca has taken administrative contingency measures to strengthen prevention against the spread of the Coronavirus through the Directive Resolution No. 0207 of March 11, 2020, and Circular 04 of March 16, 2020 where work schedules are established between the week of March 16 to 20, 2020.
