The University of Cauca will work continuously
Framed in the decisions of the World Health Organization and the National Government against COVID 19, the University of Cauca establishes a continuous working day from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. on the week of March 16 to 20, and from March 16 suspends face-to-face classes and proposes virtual possibilities to continue with the II academic period of 2019.
The University of Cauca, framed in the provisions of the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization, as well as the measures of the national order due to the increase in cases of COVID 19 in Colombia, suspends face-to-face classes from March 16 on its undergraduate and graduate programs.
Likewise, the University Directorate through the informative circular on working hours in university dependencies establishes the following temporary measures to strengthen the prevention of COVID 19:
1. In the week of March 16-20, 2020, the workday will be continuous from 8:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon.
2. From Tuesday March 17 to Friday 20 of the same month, work will be done alternately and with prior agreement with your immediate boss. (Women in pregnancy have priority in this situation).
3. Each department head will creatively organize the responsibilities with the personnel in charge in order not to hinder the fulfillment of institutional tasks and functions.
These measures are taken with the aim of minimizing health risks and generating the least trauma in the development of institutional dynamics.
