Unicauca will perform virtual accountability
With live internet transmission, the University of Cauca will carry out the process of accountability to society corresponding to the 2019 period, spaces in which the main achievements of the Institutional Development Plan 'Towards a University committed to Territorial Peace will be socialized '.
Following the preventive measures that have been established in the country due to the appearance of the Coronavirus (Covid19) and the declaration of a Pandemic by the World Health Organization, the University of Cauca will carry out with the Internet transmission the process of accountability to society validity 2019 programmed through Rectory Resolution No. 208 of 2020.
In accordance with the administrative act, the University of Cauca welcomes the recommendations given by the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection aimed at the recommendations for the prevention, management and control of Acute Respiratory Infection by the new coronavirus in the educational environment.
Programming will continue as originally established, except that it will be broadcast live on Facebook and YouTube, with the coordination of the Office of Institutional Planning and Development with the support of the Communications Management Center and the Division of Information Technologies and the Communications of the University of Cauca.
The week of March 16 to 20 will be held by the faculty councils of the nine Academic Units, and on March 24 at the North Headquarters in the municipality of Santander de Quilichao. On Thursday, April 2, the X Public Hearing of Accountability to Society by the University Directorate will take place, an event that will also be broadcast live.
Accountability is an act in which the University of Cauca, as a public institution, is accountable to society for the advanced acts and achievements of the Institutional Development Plan 'Towards a University committed to Territorial Peace' led by the Doctor José Luis Diago Franco, rector of the Alma Mater of the Caucanos.
The current Institutional Development Plan is made up of five axes: Educational excellence; Strengthening of Quality Management; Research, Innovation and Social Interaction; Comprehensive Training with Culture and Well-being; and Institutional Strengthening.
