Student and graduates of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications in ICT HUAWEI ICT Competition 2019 - 2020

Dairo Oswaldo Arce Ceballos and graduates María Alejandra Landínez and Danny Zavid Herrera Hitas participated with 1,200 students in the preliminary stage where they occupied 3 of the 10 best places.

                                                                         

The student Dairo Oswaldo Arce Ceballos and the graduates María Alejandra Landínez and Danny Zavid Herrera Hitas, from the Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications Program of the University of Cauca, occupied three of the 10 best places in the ICT talent competition HUAWEI ICT competition 2020.

 

In this way, the Alma Mater caucana is one of the universities with the largest number of representatives at the end of this worldwide initiative that seeks to train and recruit the best talents in the field of information and telecommunications technologies. In the preliminary competition, more than 1,200 students enrolled from the five regions of the country participated.

 

To reach the National final there was an enrollment process on the HUAWEI eLearning X platform, in which students were trained in Cloud Computing, Cloud Services, Big Data, IA, Cloud Storage, Networking, Switching and Routing among other related branches with information technologies and telecommunications.

 

“After the preliminary examination, whose results were obtained the top ten nationwide for each discipline, that is, Cloud Computing and Networking. The national final will be attended by 20 students, 3 of them from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications of the University of Cauca, who will proudly represent and leave the name of Unicauca and the department in a high place, ”concluded the student Dairo Oswaldo Arce Ceballos.

 

This competition is a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge among the best students and teachers in the world of Huawei. Students open the door to prepare for themselves, and then demonstrate their skills, knowledge and experiences in Mexico and China.
