Unicauca opens registrations for the Seventh National University Art Award
The Vice-Rectory of Culture and Welfare through the Division of Culture Management invites students enrolled in any public and / or private University in the country to participate in the Seventh National Prize for University Art 2020. Instrumental Music Modality - Classical Guitar.
As of February 11, 2020, registrations for the Seventh National Prize for University Art 2020 are opened. Instrumental Music Modality - Classical guitar, call that promotes the Vice-Rectory of Culture and Welfare of the University of Cauca through the Management Division of Culture
“The call for arts, propitiated as a space for the visualization of young university artists, has allowed creative productions in diverse expressions such as literature, plastic arts, among others. For this seventh version, the modality presented is aimed at music and focuses on the classical guitar as a source of inspiration for many authors worldwide and within them Latin American and Colombian authors who have elevated this instrument to levels of feelings and renowned aesthetic and harmonic compositions, ”said Francisco Javier Valencia, head of the Culture Management Division.
This is how this award focuses on recognizing the performers and the guitar as a sound element with different perspectives. For this reason, it calls for the regional university art award modality: Instrumental Music-Classical Guitar to stimulate, recognize and visualize young guitar performers and at the same time identify the guitar as a sound element of exquisite musicalities.
Students enrolled in any public and / or private University in the country may participate, for which they must attach an academic certificate issued by the institution, as an active student, of one of their training programs.
