The Faculty of Law, Political and Social Sciences, dean for the period 2017-2022, is Gabriela Ramírez Zuluaga, a teacher who graduated from the University of Cauca with a Law and Bachelor of Modern Languages ​​(English - French) degrees.
 

Ramírez Zuluaga, who has been a head teacher for 16 years, has also worked as a criminal investigating judge, special and higher police inspector, and attorney for Public Records of the Cauca Chamber of Commerce.

"It is an important mission that the High Council delegates to me at the moment in which the Faculty is undertaking important processes to project it to the community; Research, academic and social projection processes that we have been developing through research groups, teachers of Communication, Political Science and Law, as well as in the Legal Office and Conciliation Center," said the Dean.

She also said that during her administration the Faculty of Law, Political and Social Sciences will continue the process of Qualified Registration and Accreditation "to continue positioning us as a high quality faculty that is what we propose, we are going to undertake a work of very good attention to the public and of quality in all the processes and procedures that we develop."

Professor José Reinaldo Pisso Córdoba, Head of the Department of Private Law at the University of Cauca, was dean in charge of the Faculty mentioned for the past three months.

 

Along with the congratulations to Professor Gabriela Ramírez Zuluaga, she pointed out that "the commitments and the challenges are for all of us, the academic community, the teachers, students, of which we are in charge of university administration; It is she who has to be our leader and guide in all these processes that we have pending in the Faculty".
