The university received foreign students in the academic mobility program.
Henry François Tarlin, Head of the Office of Interinstitutional and International Relations of the University of Cauca, said that the Institution welcomed a group of students from university institutions in France, Mexico and Argentina, who were enrolled for the second 2017 Period.
Among the group are students from Mexico, from the University of Querétaro, the Metropolitan Autonomous University, and the Universidad del Valle de Puebla. On the part of France, they arrived on behalf of the University of Lyon.
The students will join the Anthropology, Political Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Geography programs.
"It is very gratifying to see our portfolio of international students diversifying, and we see as good experiences, successful experiences that have had students who have previously been in the University, because it has served to promote our Alma Mater in different countries,” Said Henry François Tarlin.
It is noteworthy that the arrival of students from other countries to Unicauca, in general is a joint work between the offices of inter-institutional and international relations of the teacher study centers, who through their academic peers invite teachers to publicize the possibility of students from different university programs around the world who can make a study in our institution.
For example, the current dean of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Tulio Rojas Curieux, has been highlighted in this administration by fostering interinstitutional cooperation agreements.
