The work called 'Gamification Pattern Catalogue as a contribution to motivation learning', received the first place to the best work of degree, in a contest made by AIPO (Association Person-Computer Interaction).

 

The work, developed by Steven Ruiz Colorado and Jhonny Paul Taborda Mosquera, students as thesis within the Systems Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications program.

 

The research, directed by Jeferson Arango (candidate for doctor of the Doctorate program in Electronics Sciences of the University of Cauca), and co-directed by the Phd. Francisco Gutiérrez, of the University of Granada-Spain, and Phd. César Collazos, from the University of Cauca.

 

The AIPO is an association at the Ibero-American level in charge of strengthening the Human Computer Interaction line, and annually opens the competition to reward the best jobs in the HCI area at undergraduate and graduate level.

 

"This award reflects the work being done within the IDIS group of the University of Cauca, who have led the HCI area at the national level," said the important accomplishment of the engineer César Collazos, who has stood out for coordinating processes In the area in Latin America and Europe.
