International technical mission will be visiting the Centre of Postgraduate Unicauca.
Experts from the Ibero-American University Association of Graduate Studies, AUIP, will be at the institution in March 2015 in order to provide tools for institutional activities.
According to Sandra Milena Roa Martinez, director of the Center for Graduate Studies, the Alma Mater as an active part of AUIP participated in the call that opened in the Second Academic Period of 2014 to develop postgraduate and doctoral degrees.
"The AUIP approved us a Workshop Seminar in Academic-Administrative Management on the role of the coordinators of graduate programs with two international experts who will be visiting the University of Cauca in the first half of 2015," he said.
Thus, it seeks to provide tools and knowledge of the work to the coordinators of each graduate program to meet the needs of applicants and students from adequate academic and administrative management.
The Universidad del Cauca currently has 60 postgraduate (6 PhDs, 19 masters, 7 surgical medical specializations and 28 in multiple areas), 30 programs more processed the registry Qualified to the Ministry of Education and 28 are in preparation of documents. It is expected to offer a total of 120 graduate programs in 2015.
The AUIP is a Spanish organization that contributes with high academic quality criteria for the training of professors, scientist and professionals in postgraduate and doctoral level, depending on the development needs of each country and of he Ibero-American Community of Nations.
