All set for the XIII Tourist and Cultural Fair 'Cauca, an undiscovered destination”
Entrepreneurs, artisans, and cultural tourism promoters from Cauca will meet at the convention center “Casa de la Moneda” on November 19 to 21.
The edition number 13 of the Fair started with focus on the tourism and culture of the department of Cauca. The event this year has the support of the governor of Cauca and the Tourism Corporation of Cauca.
Artisans, private and public companies, trade associations, travel agencies and tourism, among others, will offer their portfolios and advise to the public and business projects and tourism project will be presented.
The Thirteenth Company Tourist and Cultural Fair will have three main themes:
Business Component: it seeks to link the business and industry of Cauca to the development of tourism as a strategy for economic development. Entrepreneurial projects and business ideas, projects with Royalty, stand for companies and industries from Cauca and international conferences in business development will be exhibited.
Tourism component: it aims to raise awareness of the potential of tourism to the development of Cauca, through its interest will be workshops with international speakers specialized in business management focused on tourism and the creation of an place of business relationship.
Cultural component: it seeks to position cultural tourism and promotion of culture as one of the potential of the region. They will present: The exhibition 'We are Cauca', the concert 'Songs of the marimba and Pacific of Cauca' and display “traditional cuisine’.
The Fair expect to receive the visit of more than ten thousand people during its three days conducting business promote, promote local attractions and visualize the potential of Cauca.
The event is an initiative of teachers and students of the Business Administration program at the University of Cauca, who for thirteen years have sought to provide a forum for interaction between academia, the business sector, the government sector and society.
