Unicauca participated in the Internationalization Week, which successfully ended this week.
The event, organized by the Departmental Network for Internationalization of Higher Education, held in different institutions of Popayan.
The program included a panel discussion with Jamil Salmi, the socialization of the National Scholarship Program for Academic Mobility Platform Alliance Pacific by William Barreto and presentation of the Mexican educational system by Rhayne Gomez.
Also Rhayne Gomez, in charge of Economic and Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of Mexico in Colombia, explained the facilities available for Colombian students in the Central American country.
"We disseminate grants offered by the Mexican government to Colombians for their academic excellence or conventions of the Pacific Alliance in a country with universities that are among the best in the world," he said.
Professors Lida Deisy Vivas Leal, Aristides Obando Cabezas and José Fernando Grass Ramirez presented their experience of being graduate students in Mexico during the event.
"We present Mexico as a country of academic and cultural opportunities that becomes a destination for those interested in exchange programs and continue their training," he said Françoise Tarlin, head of the Office of Inter-institutional and International Relations.
