The ICESI, the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali and our Alma Mater will be hosting the event scheduled for 24, 25 and 26 September in Cali and the closing of the event will be held on 27  in Popayan.

According to Professor Eduardo Andrés Chilito, head of the Department of Political Science, they seeks to position the academic program of the institution among the 30 that exist at the national level with the support of the Colombian Association of Political Science,.

"The program has 500 presentations of researchers, teachers and students in the under the following themes: party system, international relations, political system and institutions, political theory, government and public policy, social movements, conflict, security and peace building and finally disciplinary discussion on methodology in political science, "said the teacher.

The Congress will visit David Altman (Catholic University of Chile), Frank Pfetsch (University of Heidelberg), Richard Snyder (Brown University - USA), Stathis Kalyvas (Yale University - USA) and panelists that address mentioned issues.
