The Academic Council of Unicauca met with businessmen from the Department.

They wanted to organize a joint work agenda to generate development efforts for the city and the department.

The activity was attended by the Rector, Vice-rectors and Deans of the Alma Mater, and union representatives from different sectors of the Department.

"It is very important that the University of Cauca opens doors to organize joint work, presenting the different scenarios that the Department and lives in which we can propose actions that define Saturday August 9 at a new meeting," said José Rodrigo Sánchez , director of the Trade and Business Council of Cauca.

Among the issues to be settled is the post-conflict in Cauca, building citizen initiatives to a Development Plan in Popayan and leadership to advance the above proposals.

For the Guild and Business Council of Cauca, is important to articulate knowledge with experience in building methodologies and work parties for development of the city and the department.
