Two residents of the School of Health Sciences obtained recognition during the event in Medellin.

Cesar Rendon and Luz Marina Verdugo, residents in their II and III year of Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology, School of Health Sciences, were recognized for their professional performance.

The conference, which was held from May 28 to 31, with the participation of twenty medical schools of Colombia as well as international speakers and Gynecologists from all over the country.

According to Cesar Rendon, the finals were among the Universidad del Valle Universidad Nacional de Caldas, Universidad Libre de Cali and Unicauca, in a contest that measures the related knowledge in three phases with two representatives from each institution.

" It is a recognition for teachers involved in our daily training and for Unicauca, it shows the strength of our graduate programs and the residents", he said.

The results of the competition organized by the Colombian Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology where the Universidad del Valle in the first place, the Universidad del Cauca in the second place and the Universidad Nacional in third place.
