The chair  " Scalable Digital Education for All " is not only supported by our Alma Mater but also by other universities in Spain and Latin America.

Álvaro Rendón, a professor at the Department of Telematics, explained that the Chair is led by the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and its mission is to create and maintain good practices to promote Massive Open Online Courses - MOOC in Spanish-speaking communities.

" The objective of the Chair is the creation and maintenance of a network of universities in Spain and Latin America that are interested in the promotion of the MOOC culture as a sustainable and scalable solution for education", said the professor.

Professor Rendón indicated that this chair is intended to create and maintain a virtual environment designed to train lecturers in the production and research of this type of courses.
