The Student group Cleta presents a project in the International Mobility Forum.
Students of the Faculty of Arts of Unicauca developed a proposal based on visual communication strategies for the use of bicycles.
Members of a student group from the Graphic Design Program outlined today in the city of Medellin the project “Cleta, pedaliando al futuro” ("Cleta, pedaling to the Future"), as part of the V International Mobility Forum that will extend until October 11.
This is an initiative that the Cleta Group is proposing, seeking that the University of Cauca creates policies, welfare programs and mobility strategies based primarily on the use of the bicycle.
The goal is to promote the use of this form of transportation in Popayan and Unicauca by articulating public policies and comprehensive mobility programs, raising awareness to both the student population on issues that can help reduce risks and imminent danger to the personal integrity of the cyclists.
According to Jose Daniel Fernandez Conda, student of the Graphic Design Program and member of Cleta, the project is proposed in phases and they are leading efforts to make it better known among the institution.
"During this semester and after the input provided the city of Medellin, we will be holding a public event to socialize this great opportunity to Unicauca. We will announce the date in the coming weeks", said the student.
The judges of the V International Mobility Forum got to know about the Cleta project and therefore selected it to be exposed there. Many world experts in sustainable mobility issues and quality of life participated in the Forum.
