“Una Mirada a Popayán" (A look at Popayán) is the name of the exhibition of James Fabian Diaz.

The student James Fabian Diaz, member of a Photo Club called “Fotoclub de Unicauca” and student of last semester of Physics Engineering, is presenting in the building of the Congress of the Republic his photography exhibition: "Una Mirada a Popayán” (A Look at Popayan).  The exhibition displays photographs related to the capital of the department of Cauca.

There are about 40 images showing part of the architecture, the daily life and landscapes of the city, captured using various photographic techniques such as long exposure and high contrast as well as using wide-angle lenses and HDR modes.

The president of Fotoclub Unicauca, Diego Fernando Martinez, highlighted the work of the student and the quality of their artwork on behalf of the group.

The shows will be available on the Congress building until next September 20.

 

About the Fotoclub

The Fotoclub de Unicauca is a group that has more than 40 years working in Popayan, in order to bring together people who are passionate about photography in its different forms.

 

Annually provides basic photography courses offered to the university community and the people of the general public interested in the subject.

According to Diego Fernando Martinez, for the month of January 2014 will be open registration for the new course, which are programmed to start in February of the same year.
