Unicauca Students Host Entrepreneurship Fair in Santander de Quilichao
Unicauca's Northern Campus Hosts Business and Entrepreneurship Showcase.
On November 18, the University of Cauca's Northern Campus held the Entrepreneurship Fair, organized by students from an elective course in the Agroindustrial Engineering program. The event aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among Unicauca students while promoting and supporting student-led ventures and local entrepreneurs from the northern region of Cauca.
This showcase of business ideas and ventures seeks to cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship among University of Cauca students. It also serves as a platform where invited entrepreneurs from the region can share their services and experiences with those embarking on entrepreneurial endeavors. The fair was managed by Agroindustrial Engineering students in the "Entrepreneurship" professional elective, taken during the ninth semester. This initiative provides an opportunity for students to present their ideas and projects to the academic community, fostering the development of creative solutions with a positive social and economic impact on Santander de Quilichao and Northern Cauca.
Featured projects included financial services, food products, crafts, cleaning supplies, fashion, cosmetics, and work developed by Agroindustrial Engineering students. The event was well-received, drawing approximately 500 attendees who enjoyed visiting various stands and sampling the products on display.
