Unicauca professor presents his work on new technologies and educational processes at events in Portugal, Peru, and Mexico
Professor César Alberto Collazos was a panelist and speaker at various events that addressed topics related to the use of technologies in teaching-learning processes, a human-centered approach, and the impact of Artificial Intelligence on education.
In October, Professor César Alberto Collazos, affiliated with the Department of Systems at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications at the University of Cauca and coordinator of the IDIS Group (Research and Development in Software Engineering), was invited as a panelist and speaker at various scientific and academic events held in Portugal, Peru, and Mexico.
Thus, Professor Collazos participated as a speaker at the 23rd European Conference on e-Learning, which took place on October 24-25 in Porto, Portugal. During this event, he delivered the talk “Collaborative Games as A Mechanism Supporting Monitoring and Evaluation of Collaborative Learning Processes,” where he presented research advancements conducted within the IDIS Group and the Doctorate in Electronic Sciences at the University of Cauca, regarding the use of information technologies to support teaching-learning processes through collaborative strategies. This event also featured speakers Marta Mena, professor at the National University of Tres de Febrero, Argentina, and António M. Teixeira from the University of Alberta, Portugal.
At the same time, at the CONTIE-2024 (VII International Conference on Inclusive Technologies and Education) held from October 23-25 in Lima, Peru, Professor Collazos presented two talks: one focused on the development of technology from a human-centered approach, and the other offering a critical analysis of the impact of Artificial Intelligence in education.
Finally, in Mexico, during the SOMECE202R and JISAE2024 events held in Puebla, Professor Collazos was one of the keynote speakers with a talk on new forms of interaction with Artificial Intelligence. He also participated as one of the panelists in the forum "The Industry-University Relationship for a DUAL Education Model: Experiences from Latin America and Germany," alongside representatives from Volkswagen Mexico, Professor Juan M. González from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, and Cristian Sturm from the Technical University of Ingolstadt, Germany.
