Specialization in corporate marketing
Marketing is a function inherent in any type of organization, which aims to meet and exceed the needs and desires of customers effectively. This concept was born in the fifties when some organizations in the United States established that the key to success in marketing its products (goods and services), was found in precisely knowing what the customer wanted and not producing and then wait to see whether or not it was what they wanted.
Organizations and individuals worldwide have increasingly embraced this concept as a key factor of success in their business and activities, insofar as they are able to satisfy customer needs better than the competition. This generates not only loyal customers, but it will bring new ones, contributing to the generation of benefits of a different kind for the organization.
Today we find organizations with cutting edge thinking, which without forgetting its external customer orientation (buyers) and the pursuit of economic benefits for the organization also acquired a strong commitment to meeting the needs of its internal customers (employees) and society. This is because many of the organizations that had adopted the concept of marketing, in an effort to meet the needs of buyers, had forgotten the damage they could cause to the environment, among other problems.
Likewise, today the deceptive trade practices of some organizations, that with their products affect the health, safety, and welfare of their customers, are criticized. This is why today we talk about a new approach called Social Marketing, which seeks to balance the interests of the organization, the buyers, and the society.
Considering the above, the School of Accounting, Economic and Administrative of Unicauca aware of the local and regional realities, offers the specialization in Corporate Marketing, in order to help meet latent weaknesses in our organization, such as the lack of market research, innovation and new product development, effective management of the sales force, making marketing plans and inadequate customer service, among others.
