ECoS-CTeI Project Presents Book on Results for the Science, Technology, and Innovation Ecosystem
The project, executed by the University of Cauca with the participation of the Regional Competitiveness Models Group and the Telematics Engineering Group, aims to strengthen the regional Science, Technology, and Innovation (CTeI) ecosystem of Cauca.
On June 27, 2024, in the La Quimera auditorium of the Autonomous University Corporation of Cauca, the book "ECoS-CTeI Project: Strategies and Tools for the Dynamization and Strengthening of the Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Ecosystem of Cauca" was launched. The publication was edited by PhD. Álvaro Rendón Gallón.

The publication presents the central elements of the three final outcomes that the project "Implementation of a Program for the Participation and Articulation of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Ecosystem of Cauca" delivers to the Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Ecosystem of Cauca: a validated set of processes and tools for knowledge use, a governance strategy for CTeI, and a strategy for the Social Appropriation of Knowledge.
Additionally, it shares the main lessons learned from the project, documented through the systematization of experiences in the specialty coffee sector and the project's own management, which was funded by the General Royalties System and completed its execution on July 1, 2024.
The participants of the ECoS-CTeI project hope that the publication will serve as a reference for all individuals and organizations involved or wishing to work and be part of the various dimensions of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Ecosystem of the Department of Cauca.
The ECoS-CTeI project was executed by the University of Cauca, with the participation of the Regional Competitiveness Models Group and the Telematics Engineering Group, in partnership with 17 organizations, including Higher Education Institutions, the Productive Sector, Technological Development Centers, and Organized Civil Society.
