Forum on Judgment SU 288 of 2022 and the Regime of Public Lands in Colombia Held at Unicauca
The event, which took place on May 16, reviewed the progress in complying with the ruling and the path forward regarding rural property in Colombia.
‘Judgment SU 288 of 2022 resolved the conflict of jurisdiction between ordinary justice and the National Land Agency (ANT) regarding the allocation of public lands. It also confirmed that the ANT is the competent entity to make decisions about the ownership of these lands,’ says Roberto Carlos Rengifo V., a faculty member in the Department of Private Law at the Faculty of Law, Political Science, and Social Sciences.
With the participation of distinguished speakers, the criteria for interpreting and applying the Public Lands Regime were debated, thus unifying perspectives on this important issue. This discussion took place during the Forum on Advances in the Execution of Judgment SU 288 of 2022, held on May 16, 2024, in the Founders Hall (Faculty of Law, Political Science, and Social Sciences).
‘The forum aimed to review the scope of Judgment SU 288, analyze progress in its implementation, and outline the path forward regarding rural property in Colombia,’ said the Professor.
