The International Scientific Committee of the XXI Ibero-American Congress on Management Control (CIBEC 2024) includes a representative from Unicauca.
Professor Zoraida Ramírez Gutiérrez from the Department of Accounting Sciences at the University of Cauca has been appointed as a member of the International Scientific Committee of the XXI Ibero-American Congress on Management Control (CIBEC 2024), which will take place from September 16 to 20 in the walled city.
The XXI Ibero-American Congress on Management Control (CIBEC 2024), which will take place from September 16 to 20 in Cartagena (Colombia), is organized in collaboration with the University of Antioquia, the University of Cartagena, and AICOGestión. The congress will feature prominent representatives from academia and management control professionals both nationally and internationally, as well as presentations of research papers within various thematic areas.
“CIBEC aims to create a space to explore and exchange cutting-edge research results, current corporate practices, and future trends in Management Control. Consequently, the tracks for CIBEC 2024 cover a wide range of topics intended to engage participants and researchers in intense discussions about the most important topics in the disciplines of accounting, management control, finance, and their related areas,” said Professor Zoraida, very excited to be part of the International Scientific Committee of the congress.
It is worth noting that Zoraida Ramírez Gutiérrez is a public accountant with extensive academic training. She holds a specialization in Financial Administration, a Master's in Economic and Financial Administration, a Master's in Administration with a focus on Corporate Finance, and a PhD in Accounting and Corporate Finance from the University of Valencia (Spain). She is a full professor at the University of Cauca, a Junior Researcher at Minciencias, and the Director of the Study and Research Group in Finance and Management (GREIFG, Category C). Additionally, in 2022, she was appointed as the Director of Teaching at the Ibero-American Association of Management Control (AICOGestión), where she is part of the Board of Directors, leading the AICO area and the Innovadoc network.
