During this event, Dr. Eliana Zemanate, affiliated with the Faculty of Health Sciences at our Alma Mater, the University of Cauca, was appointed as Vice President of the Colombian Society of Pediatrics (SCP).
Without a doubt, this important position is a recognition of her career in the field of pediatrics and her commitment to child health. 'This appointment means a greater commitment to the health and well-being of children, adolescents, their families, and society, as well as a great responsibility to the pediatric community,' said the professor with conviction and emotion.

"The Colombian Society of Pediatrics has been working with the University of Cauca on academic and continuing education activities through the Pediatric Update Sessions, which address current knowledge challenges, as well as the Good Treatment Sessions, which have a significant social impact. Therefore, we will continue to support these activities nationally, as well as the participation of faculty in the ongoing education programs offered by the SCP," expressed Dr. Zemanate with gratitude for the opportunity to play a more active role in this important partnership.
Thus, the University of Cauca congratulates Dr. Eliana Zemanate on this important achievement and reaffirms its commitment to continuing to contribute to social development from various fields of knowledge.
