Unicauca and Javeriana University explore possibilities for academic and research cooperation in hydraulics and hydrology.
Students and faculty from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Cauca met with their counterparts from Javeriana University and its Department of Civil Engineering to explore opportunities for academic and research cooperation.
During two days full of learning, 17 students and 2 professors from the HydroInnovation Research Seedbed, part of the Research Group in Hydraulics and Hydrology at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University of Cauca, made a special visit to Javeriana University.
The purpose of this visit was to explore the academic and research cooperation opportunities available at the Department of Civil Engineering at Javeriana University. The students had the chance to learn about the Master’s program in Hydrosystems offered by this institution, which allowed them to broaden their academic and professional horizons in the field of hydraulics and hydrology.

The meeting facilitated a rich exchange of knowledge and experiences between the students and Professor Andrés Vargas Luna from the Department of Civil Engineering. This exchange will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of future engineers and researchers in these fundamental areas of engineering.
The visit strengthened the collaboration ties between both institutions, reaffirming their commitment to academic excellence and research in hydraulics and hydrology.
