Students of Physical Engineering, Mathematics, and Chemistry participated in this event, which aimed to break the barriers of knowledge and contribute to science and technology projects worldwide.
The Doctorate in Chemical Sciences and the Department of Physical Engineering held a conference on Monday, February 12, titled 'Picosatellites: a perspective of collaboration between Colombia and Russia,' led by Nikolai Frolov, Director of the Center for Scientific-Technical Cooperation and Innovation of Russia with Ibero-American Countries at the South-West State University of Russia (UESOR), and a member of the National Committee for Economic Cooperation with Latin American Countries (CN CEPLA).

The event, which took place in the Aula Máxima of the Faculty of Natural, Exact, and Education Sciences, saw massive participation from students of the Physical Engineering, Mathematics, and Chemistry programs.
The conference generated great interest and achieved the goal of breaking barriers in knowledge by bringing specialists who directly work on global science and technology projects to the students of the University of Cauca.
