UniCauca student is a guest pianist on a concert tour in Spain.

Honathan Mateo Meza López, from the Band Conducting program and recognized for his skills as a pianist, musical arranger, and euphonium player, will accompany renowned Colombian euphonist David Moreno on his concert tour in Spain.

The student, Honathan Mateo Meza López, currently in the seventh semester of the Band Conducting program at the University of Cauca, will participate as an accompanying pianist on the tour of Colombian euphonist David Moreno. Moreno was awarded the International Circulation Prize from the National Incentives Program of the Ministry of Culture of Colombia.

The tour, taking place from September 20th to 28th in Spain, will feature musical pieces composed by the UniCauca student. Meza López has stood out throughout his career as a pianist, musical arranger, and euphonium player, showcasing various Colombian rhythms in his compositions under the title 'Colombian Music for Euphonium and Piano.'

In this manner, Colombian music, presented by Honathan Mateo Meza López and David Moreno, will resonate in auditoriums such as the Casa de la Cultura de Biar, Municipal de Castalla, Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Llíria, Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valencia, and the Auditorio Conservatorio Superior de Música "Joaquín Rodrigo" in Valencia.
