On December 1, 2022, through Superior Agreement 042, the institutional roadmap was approved that will allow us to work for the next five years "For a University of Excellence and Solidarity"

What is a Development Plan? This could be one of the first questions that arise when it comes to talking about these issues that are so important, but, at the same time, about which many are unaware. Well, the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) is a planning instrument that guides the investments of the University based on the fulfillment of the missionary objective, in this, the strategic axes, programs and subprograms and products that are associated with the investment resources to be executed during the five-year period of the directive time spam.

With this roadmap, drawn up by the university management headed by the rector Deibar René Hurtado Herrera and his work team, led by the Institutional Planning and Development Office, it seeks to develop, with concrete and planned actions, the path to be followed during the next five years.

On this occasion, the process of collective and collaborative construction is highlighted in a special way. The university community, as a whole, participated in the elaboration of this project that establishes the strategic guidelines that will govern the University of Cauca from 2023 to 2027, since students, graduates, administrators, and teachers are the base and the support of the Institutional Development Plan (PDI).

This important work carried out by the different levels of the University, resulted in an Institutional Development Plan approved and with excellent comments from the members of the Superior Council, constituted by the delegate of the President of the Republic, the delegate of the Minister of Education National, the Governor of Cauca, the representative of the trade union sector, and the representatives of the directives, teachers, graduates and students, affirmed the head of the Office of Planning and Institutional Development, Diana Melissa Muriel Muñoz.
