Unicauca students carry out supervision of the University Citadel in Santander de Quilichao

In the inspection visit carried out on February 18, 2021 in Santander de Quilichao, the students of the Universidad del Cauca who make up the Student Oversight at the University Citadel found that the civil works is 83% complete, with the commitment of official delivery for July 1, 2021, of the first stage consisting of 10 goals, 2 blocks of three floors, each with 24 classrooms.

 

“An important civil project for the youth and for the entire community of northern Cauca and neighboring departments, which seek to benefit from 48 classrooms, each with capacity for 30 students, who in the meeting of ideas and tired of violence, will contribute in building a culture of peace ”.

 

In the report of the Student Oversight Office they emphasize that it is important to continue working jointly with the territorial entities for the consolidation of the projected stages, it is urgent to comply with the commitments with public access roads to the place, public lighting and social projection for stability and security of the area where the Citadel is located.

 

"This exercise allows us to strengthen ties of unity and fraternity, between the venues, building from the grassroots and appearing from our civil works in the principle of transparency for the Academic meeting and the University Well-being".

 

The next oversight of the University Citadel will be held on May 27, 2021, at 9:00 in the morning where the following pending issues will be addressed: budget report, additions, certifications, signage, and provision of supplies, among others. In the approved schedule, there is a 2.25 delay, being the pandemic, the situation for which it has had to be paused for adjustments and biosafety protocols.
