Unicaucans Professor is one of the organizers of an international event on technology and quality of life in older adults
The event that will take place from April 24 to 26, 2021, is organized by the professor of the University of Cauca César Alberto Collazos and professors of the University of Zaragoza (Spain). It will address issues related to the use of technology to improve the quality of life of older adults.
Topics such as the adoption of technology in older adults will be addressed during the special session "Technology, Elderly & Games", which will be held within the framework of the 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Aging Well and e-Health - ICT4AWE 2021 and of which the professor of the University of Cauca, César Alberto Collazos is one of its organizers.
Along with Professor Collazos will be the professors of the University of Zaragoza (Spain): Eva Cerezo, Sandra Baldasarri and Jesús Gallardo.
“This is an event that is organized in its second edition, and in which it is expected to receive research papers on topics related to the use of technology to improve the quality of life of older adults. This is one of the lines of research that the IDIS Group has been working on and within the Doctorate program in Electronics Sciences”, said César Alberto Collazos, professor in the Systems Department and who coordinates the Engineering Research and Development Group of the IDIS Software.

• Accessible technology for older adults
• Games and Rehabilitation
• User Experience in Older Adults
• Technology design for older adults
