As an initiative of the students towards the students, the University Listening Center arises whose purpose is to approach and know the current situation of the student population of the University of Cauca in the midst of the current situation of social isolation due to COVID-19 .

The team of listeners informs the university community that we are active in our work since January 12 of this year 2021.

We offer the university community active and affective listening through 14 telephone lines permanently available for students, professors and administrators to communicate with us in order to maintain an empathic and supportive dialogue towards the different situations and particularities of our classmates and at the same time, through a set of interconnected networks between the different dependencies, divisions, programs and faculties of the university, offer them personalized attention to their concerns and problems.

In addition to comprehensive support in their educational processes activating and referring to the different university welfare services: Division of Integral Health and Human Development with the services of psychology, general medicine, alternative medicine and sexual and reproductive health, the PermaneSer program activating its services of counseling in reading and writing, counseling in mathematics, psychoeducation and the program of attention to the consumption of substances.
