University of Cauca joins the Research Network of the ERASMUS + project

The IDIS Research Group, led by teacher César Alberto Collazos, will participate in the design and construction of tools to support the analysis of learning to improve the quality of work carried out in Higher Education Institutions

 

The University of Cauca, through the IDIS Software Engineering Research and Development research group, attached to the Systems Department of the Faculty of Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering, received notification of acceptance to be part of the cooperation network in previous days from the ERASMUS + LALA project (“Building Capacity to Use Learning Analytics to Improve Higher Education in Latin America”) funded by the European Union.

 

"As a research group at the University of Cauca, we will participate in the design and construction of support tools for learning analysis to improve the quality of work carried out in Higher Education Institutions," said professor César Alberto Collazos, coordinator from IDIS.

 

The LALA Community (Learning Analytics in Latin America), is an international group of free access made up of Higher Education Institutions in Latin America, which aims to guarantee the sustainability of the results of the LALA project, and seeks to promote long-term sustainable cooperation , creating long-lasting relationships among its members that contribute to the replication of the results obtained.

 

"Through the LALA community, it will seek to promote research and the exchange of knowledge to develop local capacity in IES in Latin America to create, adapt, implement and adopt Learning Analytics tools to improve academic decision-making processes ”, Concluded the teacher.
