In agreement with the Mayor's Office of Popayán, a bus from the University of Cauca makes a daily journey through different sectors of the city in three schedules, round trip.

As a contribution to solving the issue of mobility of healthcare personnel in the health sector in the prevention of COVID19, the University of Cauca, in agreement with the Mayor's Office of Popayán, has a bus that will make three daily trips that include the University Hospital San José and the Hospital Susana López.

The route made by the bus from the University of Cauca is: La Paz - Villa del Viento - Gabriela Mistral - Los Hoyos - Franciscanas - Hospital San José - Lotería del Cauca - Cadillal - Iglesia Fátima - Calle 4ta - Esmeralda - Glorieta Chirimía - Susana López hospital.

This route is carried out at the following times starting from the La Paz neighborhood: 6:30 in the morning, 12:30 in the afternoon and 6:30 in the afternoon, round trip with the transfer of personnel. The bus from University of Cauca has a capacity for 27 passengers.

For this service, a route has been established that seeks to favor a greater number of health officials who must go to their workplaces, especially in the area of ​​nursing and general services. The personnel assigned to hospital institutions must present their identification card to use this service.

It is noteworthy that to carry out this work, the assigned drivers Diego Mauna, Alfonso Celis, Rafael Méndez and Jesús Rivera received the respective care and safety training, as well as the elements required for their protection.
