Unicaucano graduate, awarded a scholarship by a Brazilian university to continue training in microelectronics and semiconductors.

From July 10, 2024, to January 10, 2025, Edwin Stiven Molina Arias from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications will be taking the Analog Integrated Circuit Designer course at the University of Campinas.

Edwin Stiven Molina Arias, a graduate of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications from the University of Cauca, has been selected to undertake the Analog Integrated Circuit Designer Course - Training Phase, to be held at the University of Campinas – UNICAMP, São Paulo State (Brazil).

The course, which begins on July 10, 2024, and concludes on January 10, 2025, is part of the  CI Innovador  program. This program aims to promote the training of human resources in the field of microelectronics and semiconductors, with the goal of contributing to innovation and development in the sector, particularly within the community of professionals, companies, and institutions where projects will be implemented. The program also offers scholarships valued at R$5,000,000 (five million reais) per month.

CI Innovador was created to meet the growing market demand for professionals in the field of semiconductors and microelectronics. It is an initiative of the MCTI, coordinated by Softex, and in partnership with the most renowned educational institutions in Brazil. The training phase lasts 6 months and provides a certificate to the students who pass. After completing this initial stage, the students with the best performance will be selected for the International Experience, and subsequently, the top performers will advance to the In Company phase.
