On Friday, August 11th, the event was held welcoming postgraduate students, called 'Plaza Café', a formal meeting held at the Faculty of Accounting, Economics and Administration of the University of Cauca.

 

"It is the second time that we have welcomed as it is, we want to institutionalize it similar to what is done with undergraduate, so our graduate students feel welcome in our home," said Martha Lucía Chaves Zúñiga, Director of the Graduate Center .

 

He also pointed out that in the cultural event held in the framework of the welcome, there was the active collaboration of the Faculty of Arts, through the Department of Music.

 

The welcoming greeting by Dr. Chaves Zúñiga was also focused on inviting students to live this new university stage with commitment and discipline, and at the same time reminded them that they can develop their academic activities with tranquility "because they have the quality of our programs. "

 

For the second period of 2017, an average of 400 students entered to advance training processes in postdoctoral studies, doctorates, master's degrees and specializations.

 

It should be noted that currently the Institution has in its postgraduate offer a total of 116 programs, of which an average of 58 are offered per semester.
