Unicauca teacher, among the editors of one of the most important technology and education magazines
Professor César Alberto Collazos, coordinator of the IDIS group (Research and Development in Software Engineering) of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications of the University of Cauca, is one of the editors of the special issue of the International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education on Artificial Intelligence in Education in the Global South.
International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education (IJAIED) is classified in category A1 by Minciencias, and one of the most prestigious on issues related to the use of Technology in educational environments. In this special edition, he will address the topic Barriers and opportunities for the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in education in the Global South (Refers to low-income and medium-income countries worldwide).
Along with Professor Collazos, the following are editors: Ig Ibert Bittencourt (Federal University of Alagoas; Brazil; Harvard Graduate School of Education, US); María Mercedes Rodrigo (Athenaeum of Manila University, Philippines); Yu Lu (Beijing Normal University, China); Diego Dermeval (Federal University of Alagoas, Brazil); Paul Prinsloo (University of South Africa, South Africa) and Seiji Isotani (Harvard Graduate School of Education, US).
International Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education (IJAIED) publishes articles related to the application of AI to education. Its goal is to aid the development of principles for the design of computer-based learning systems. Its premise is that these principles involve the modeling and representation of relevant aspects of knowledge, before implementation or during execution, and therefore require the application of AI concepts and techniques.
