Unicauca students present at an international discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on education
Jennifer Nathalya Naspucil Osorio and María Fernanda Bermúdez García from the Physiotherapy program participated together with students from the National Autonomous University of Mexico UNAM and the University of South Florida in the exchange of experiences, feelings and challenges of university education in times of the COVID-19 pandemic. 19.
The Physiotherapy program of the University of Cauca, through the Community Health Practice, participated in the International Conversation of the VII Student Physiotherapy Conference of the National Autonomous University of Mexico UNAM, held on April 12, 2021 in a virtual way .
The students of the last semester of training Jennifer Nathalya Naspucil Osorio and María Fernanda Bermúdez García participated in the meeting for the Physiotherapy program of the University of Cauca, who shared with students of the Physiotherapy Degree in their third and fourth year and of social service of UNAM and third grade students from the University of South Florida (United States).
The theme of the Conversation revolved around knowing the perceptions of students about the "Impact of the pandemic due to the COVID-19 disease on education; challenges, opportunities and university reality”.
The meeting allowed the exchange of experiences, feelings and challenges of university education in times of the COVID-19 pandemic, not only from academic aspects, but also from mental health, general health, family and social environments of the students and their proposals and discussions to face the situation in the current context.
