The three students from the Bachelor's in Physical Education, Recreation, and Sports at the University of Cauca presented a paper related to physical activity, sports, and health in school settings, addressing one of the main themes of the event.

Mabel Dayana Mosquera Rivera, Sebastián Felipe Hurtado Joaquí, and Dayra Marcela Muñoz Suarez, who are part of the En-Acción research group at the University of Cauca, presented a paper at the 4th Caribbean Congress of Educational Research. Their submission was accepted to be showcased at the event organized by the Salomé Ureña Higher Institute of Teacher Training (ISFODOSU), held on October 5th, 6th, and 7th in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The educational research congress comprised nine thematic axes, and the Unicauca students participated in the fourth axis focused on physical activity, sports, and health in school environments. These academic spaces and gatherings are conducive to strengthening relationships among participating educational institutions and attendees, thereby enriching the quality of university education. It demonstrates once again the commitment of the University of Cauca to excellence and solidarity.

"Academic mobility through participation in international congresses allows students to immerse themselves in a multicultural and diverse environment. This enriching experience not only broadens personal horizons but also fosters an understanding of different research approaches," expressed Dayra Marcela Muñoz.

The three students received financial support from various departments of the University of Cauca, such as the Vice Presidency for Research, Quality Management Area, and the Department of Physical Education, to attend the international congress and uphold the reputation of our country and university.
