The Applied and Industrial Mathematics Commission of the Colombian Mathematical Society organizes the Colombian Conferences on Applied and Industrial Mathematics (MAPI), which have been held every two years since 2018. MAPI is a scientific conference focusing on applied mathematics and its applications across various disciplines and human activities. Its primary goal is to strengthen and encourage research in applied mathematics and its application to scientific problems as well as issues in the public and private sectors. It is the first event in Colombia that brings together academia and industry.
