Museums in today's world have transformed from their definition to their functions and spaces. For example, previously it was considered a “warehouse or a place where collective memory is safeguarded”, an entity that still needs to be protected. However, with the creation of museology and museography, museums have been re-conceptualized and re-imagined as institutions that seek to generate, disseminate and facilitate dialogue and the acquisition of knowledge.
