With representatives, delegates and deans of the faculties of the University, this space was a set up that seeks to establish a scenario that allows the monitoring and monitoring of social interaction activities carried out in the different faculties of the University of Cauca

On November 27, at the facilities of the Gregorio Caicedo Auditorium of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Launch of the Technical Table of Social Interaction of the University of Cauca was held, an event led by the Office of the Vice-Rector for Investigations through the Articulation Division with the DAE Environment.

 “With the Bureau, what we want is to open a meeting space between each of the faculties, start a process and make visible what they are doing in each of them inside and outside the institution, mainly with research processes. Currently interesting and articulated works are being done in each faculty, what we are looking for is synergy between them. There is a common denominator, such as the use of processes, methodologies and all the developments that have been made within our institution, with this space we seek a relationship with organizations, companies, with the ecosystem of science and technology”, Hector Samuel Villada Castillo, Vice Chancellor of Investigations said during the space that was attended by delegates and deans of the faculties of the University of Cauca.

For his part, the director of the Division of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Articulation with the DAE Environment Juan Carlos Maya Feijoo, referred to the commitment that the DAE has when contributing to the formation of the Mesa, “This initiative, allows generating new possibilities to address the issue of Social Interaction from the University, seen as an important agent of the social development of the Department, this new instrument will allow to establish the same language and at the same time, the design and implementation of joint strategies, these efforts will guarantee conditions pointed to a further strengthening with society, productive unions and ethnic groups, which has shown that the University is fulfilling its historical role of being the most important agent of the social and sustainable development of Cauca

During the day, interventions such as that of Professor Elisa Jojoa of the Nursing program of the Faculty of Health Sciences were presented, who presented a conference on obstetric violence, as one of the types of violence that is exercised against women and violates human rights and sexual and reproductive rights. Likewise, from the Faculty of Natural, Exact and Educational Sciences, the delegate Dany Patiño announced the work of Social Interaction of such dependency.

Carolina Delgado Hurtado, as part of the Committee of support in Sciento-metric Matters to the Research System, during his speech made reference to the importance of the formation of the Technical Board of Social Interaction in the University.

“The Technical Board of Interaction formalizes the intention that the University has to create a whole model of interaction, my process from the Sciento-metrics, is to be able to help formulate this model, so that it can be understood and raised in a concrete way: what are the actors, factors and the elements of shaping that interaction with the environment, and from there being able to derive a proposal of indicators, which allow us to give a better accountability to society, ”he said.

Finally, the Social Interaction area of ​​the Innovation with the Environment Division invites the delegates and deans of each faculty to continue with the process of articulation with the university community, through this dialogue scenario aimed at strengthening the Interaction with the environment.
